Eye Bag Surgery (Blepharoplasty)

Surgical Intervention: Removal of sagging and bagging on the upper and lower eyelids by removing excess skin, fat and muscles.

-Surgery time: 30 minutes – 2 hours; it varies according to the upper, lower and upper + lower eyelids.

-Anesthesia: General anesthesia or local anesthesia under sedation

-Stay at hospital: Outpatient, followed up temporarily for a while, or overnight.

-Possible inconveniences: Temporary feeling of tightness and bruises, dry eyes or aging, temporary itching in the eyes

-Risks: Bleeding (drugs that may increase bleeding should be stopped 2 weeks ago), infection, rarely retraction of the lower lid.
